-the message about, the kingdom of God, and salvation through his Son, Jesus.
The Bible tells us that God created everything, including you and me, and He is in charge of everything.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)
We all choose to disobey God. The Bible calls this sin. Sin separated us from God and deserves God’s punishment of death.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)
God sent Jesus, the perfect solution to our sin problem, to rescue us from the punishment we deserve. It is something we, as sinners, could never earn on our own. Jesus alone saves us.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
He lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again. Because Jesus gave up His life for us, we can be welcomed into God’s family for eternity. This is the best gift ever.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
Believe in your heart that Jesus alone saves you through what He has s already done on the cross. Repent, turning from self and sin to Jesus. Tell God and others that your faith is in Jesus.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)
